Our very own Mrs. Brice, Marcee Doherty-Elst will be our Spotlight Artist for August 2021 Catch Marcee's performance this Friday, 08/20!


MARCEE'S BIO


Marcee Doherty-Elst is looking forward to Bombshell Theatre Company’s inaugural musical production, FUNNY GIRL, in January of 2022 where she’ll be playing the one “who taught her everything” – the mother of all funny girls – Mrs. Rosie Brice! Marcee has performed previously with Bombshell Theater Company in their cabaret series and is a frequent collaborator with Bombshell's Artistic Director, Eric Welch in both his photography and music video productions with K'Eric'ters. Marcee is a Milwaukee-based actor and singer who has worked with many local theater companies, including Theater RED, Next Act Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (YPF), Sunset Playhouse, the Racine Theater Guild, (most recently) the Hartford Players, and many more! Marcee is the co-Founder and Producing Director of Theater RED, a theater company co-founded with her husband and fellow Actor/Fight Director Christopher Elst.

Our July Artist of the Month is Jonathon Gideon! We will be featuring an interview and performance from Jonathon on July 9th!


JONATHON'S BIO


Jonathon holds a BA in music with a theatre minor from Concordia University Wisconsin. As an actor and singer, Jonathon has worked with Renaissance Theatreworks, First Stage, Kohl’s Wild Theater, Milwaukee Entertainment Group, Outskirts Theatre Company, and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He can also be seen as a game show host at Game Show Battle Rooms Milwaukee. In addition to acting, Jonathon works as a music director and composer. He wrote the music for the new children’s musical, Rear Hippo, which can be seen daily at the Milwaukee County Zoo through Labor Day. jonathongideon.com

MADISON'S BIO


Madison is new to projects in the Southeastern Wisconsin area, working previously in the Northern Region of the state. She is thrilled to be working virtually among all the amazing talent! Favorite past credits include: The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet Van De Graaf), Carnival (Rosalie), Mary Poppins (Mrs. Corry), Into the Woods (Stepmother), Children of Eden (Aysha/Snake), and Hair (Tribe).
